THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Rosa Lee Combs, 83, of Thomson, formerly of Harlem, was held on Monday, October 29, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, Dearing, with the Rev. Mark Downs officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three sisters, Verna Mae Embry, Thomson; Carrie Bell (Garnsy) Grissom, Mesena, and Annie Allen, Columbus, Ohio; a devoted niece, V. Brenda (Dennis) Wheeler, Thomson; one sister-in-law, Jettie Mae Embry, Thomson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
