THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Myrtle L. Kitchens, 91, widow of Mr. Joe Kitchens, Jr., died Friday, October 26, 2007, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, October 28, in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sue Meehan officiating.
Mrs. Kitchens was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Thomson Company. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kitchens Jr. and her son, Ronnie Kitchens.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Lisa Kitchens, Thomson; her granddaughter, Susan (Johnny) Greenwood, Livingston Manor, N.Y.; her grandson, John D. Kitchens, Thomson; her great grandson, Johnathan Kitchens, Thomson; and several nieces and nephews.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
