NEWBERRY, S.C. - Services for Mr. John Willard Percival were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Newberry Ward. Burial followed in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Percival, 79, died October 23, 2007. Born in Grovetown, he was a son of the late James Robert and Maggie Lee Pearson Percival. Mr. Percival was retired from Kimberly-Clark and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Newberry Ward. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Shirley Smith Percival; sons, Jay James Percival of Thomson, Jock Jerome Percival of Beech Island, SC, and Joel Jonathan Percival of Vernal, Utah; brothers, Dick Percival of Slanesville, W.V., and Marion Percival of Jackson, S.C.; sisters, Sara Percival of Modoc, SC and Eunice Swint of Augusta; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Percival was predeceased by brothers, Robert Percival and Gordon Percival and a sister, Mozelle Osborne.
McSwain-Evans Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
