BONEVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Repurta L. Kitchens, 83, widow of Mr. Broadus Kitchens, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Medical College of Georgia.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Dunaway and Rev. Michael Timmerman officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Kitchens was a native of McDuffie County, but had lived in Boneville for many years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Dearing Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Palmer, Burke County; three sons, Cohen Kitchens, Hephzibah, Danny Kitchens, Augusta, Gerald Kitchens, Thomson; a sister, Rebie Langham Newsome, Statesboro; three brothers, Johnny Langham, Phoenix, Ariz., Cleo Carey Langham Jr., Augusta, George Robert Langham, Thomson; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
