AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, October 23, 2005, Mrs. Theresa M. Kent, 43, wife of Samuel Joseph (Joe) Kent.
Other family members include their children, sons, David, James, and Christian Kent; daughters, Johanna, Brittany, Rebekah, Heather, Kathleen, Theresa and Mikaela Kent, all of Augusta; sisters, Pat Duvall of Niceville, Fla., Mary Doak, of Copperus Cove, Tex., Beth Carpenter of 29 Palms, Calif., Cecelia Meredith of Augusta, Tina Perryman of Nashville, Tenn., Barb Camfield of Knoxville, Tenn., brothers, Tony Mellen of Littleton, Col., Mike Mellen of Knoxville, Tenn., Bill Mellen of Brownsville, Tex., John Mellen of Madison, Ala., Dan Mellen of Madison, Ala. and her mother, Roberta M. Mellen of Knoxville, Tenn.
Mrs. Kent was a native of Mt. Home, Idaho but grew up in Huntsville, Ala., and has lived in Augusta for the past 21 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Alleluia Community and was a homemaker. Theresa was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her children very dearly. She was deeply loved by her husband and will be heartily missed. I love you so much.
The funeral Mass was held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. John Lyons celebrant. Interment was in the Alleluia Cemetery, Dearing.
