Mrs. Louise Hinton

THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Louise Hinton, 83, widow of Mr. Mike Hinton Sr., of Thomson, died Friday, October 29, 2004, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 31, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.

Mrs. Hinton was a native of Burke County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Whiteoak United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Hinton Jr. and is survived by two daughters, Joyce Lokey, Dearing and Betty Jean Jones, Thomson; a sister, Ruth Chastain, Thomson; two brothers, David Gay, Blackshear and Felton Gay, Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Pete Lokey, Dean McCoy, Tommy Jones, Leslie Farmer, Mike Hinton and Gary Williams.
