Buddy Poppies available this weekend

Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 6672 and Ladies Auxiliary will be distributing Buddy Poppies this weekend. Members are asking the public to help and make a donation to help disabled veterans and families.

Poppy assembly is a year-round project in veterans facilities and a part-time program in others. These poppies are made by disabled veterans and some under direction of National VFW Department.

These poppies are offered to the public and are an opportunity to thank the service men and women who have made the supreme sacrifice and those countless men in hospitals who may never again be physically fit.

The proceeds from the doantions will be placed in relief and rehabilitation funds to help veterans and their families.
