Chamber has Ca$h available for holidays

Just in time for the holidays, the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce has enhanced its Chamber Ca$h program.

"The program provides an opportunity for businesses and individuals to purchase a unique gift that can be redeemed at a variety of wonderful local businesses and retailers," said Chamber Executive Director Carolyn Gilbert.

Chamber Ca$h is simple. The purchaser buys Chamber Ca$h gift certificates from the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce in any denomination. The gift certificate is personalized with the recipient's name, the donor's name, value of the certificate and issue date. The recipient then has six months from the date the certificate was issued to redeem it at a participating business.

The certificates are the same as cash. Recipients will receive change from the merchant or business if their purchase does not exceed the total amount of the gift certificate. However, Chamber Ca$h certificates may not be redeemed for cash only.

The following businesses accept the Chamber Cash certificates: Abigail's on Main, Aunt Tique & Uncle Junk's, Balloon Delights, Bi-Lo, Inc., Brier Patch Gifts & Tanning, Chinaberry Foods & Antiques, Culpepper Lumber Company, Farmers Furniture and Appliances, Furniture and Mattress Gallery, Hughes Furniture Company, Ivery's Restaurant, McDuffie Feed and Seed, McDuffie Office Solutions, McFabulous, Peacock Hill, Peebles Department Store, Plantation House, Remnant & Rug Shop, Richard's Flower & Gift Shop, Stacy Turner Furniture, Thomson Carpet & Decorating, W.S. Badcock Home Furnishing and Weathervane Antiques.

For more information, call the chamber at 706-597-1000.
