Whitney Norris of Thomson will compete in the Miss Georgia Teen USA pageant Nov. 11 at the Coweta County Visual and Performing Arts Theater in Newnan. She will be competing in evening gown, swimsuit and interview competition.
Miss Norris is the reigning Miss Camellia Teen. This pageant was held in June of this year in Thomson. She was also the first runner-up in the Miss Augusta Outstanding Teen Pageant held in August.
Whitney, 17, is a senior at Thomson High School. She is the daughter of Dianne Norris and the late David Norris.
Whitney's sponsors are the Thomson-McDuffie County Chamber of Commerce, Destiny Farm, Shaw Industries, Damascas Way Kennels, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilkerson, Farm Bureau, Mrs. Tommy Brown and Ms. Jennifer McCall.
