Mr. William Gerald "Curly" Bross

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. William Gerald "Curly" Bross, 86 of Whiteoak Street, died Tuesday October 31, 2006, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Friday November 3, 2006 in the Thomson First Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Ramsey officiating. Burial followed in the Westview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brandon Cason, Ralph Starling, Olin Newby, William Swan, Miller Milford, George Smith, and Wayne Smith.

A native of Columbia County, Mr. Bross was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Thomson First Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Sunday school class. He retired from National Home Builders, and was a member of the Thomson Lions Club where he served as officer in all positions. He also served the state lions as the Tail Twister.

He is survived by a brother, Richard Cason of Thomson; and several nieces and nephews.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
