It's time to get into shape for the annual 5K Depot Dash.
The race will be held in Thomson on Dec. 3. Check-in will be on Journal Street in downtown Thomson and will start at 8 a.m. The course will wind through the streets of Thomson, and the finish line is on Journal Street. The race begins promptly at 9 a.m. Please check in at least 30 minutes early. Race packets will be provided to all racers, which include a Festival Off Main long sleeve T-shirt.
Runners have many opportunities to win awards which will be handed out, including a cash prize to the overall winners, trophies for overall winners male and female, and trophies by age group male and female. Afterward, the ladies of Fort Creek Baptist Church will provide all race participants with a complimentary breakfast. We encourage you to stay after the race and enjoy the crafters, children's rides, live entertainment, and art galleries.
We encourage you to pre-register either at the Chamber of Commerce in downtown Thomson, or you can print a runner application form from our website www.festivaloffmain.org. If you have any questions you may contact the Chamber at 597-1000. Pre-registration is $15, registering the day of the event is $20.
