Ms. Dorothy Mae Whitaker Norris APPLING, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, November 3, 2005, at the Thomson Manor Nursing Home, Thomson, Dorothy Mae Whitaker Norris, 56, of Appling. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2005 in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery, Harlem, with the Rev. Jerry Rockefeller officiating. Mrs. Norris, a native of Columbia County, was a homemaker and a member of Dearing Full Gospel Church. Survivors include her son, Charles E. Norris, of Appling; three brothers, Charles Whitaker, Dearing, Wayne Whitaker, Dearing, and Frank Whitaker, Augusta; three sisters, Helen Hall, Harlem, Sara Hammett, Appling, and Mary Ann Knox, Thomson; and one grandson, Bryan Norris.
