Bands are becoming more of a fad among high school students today.
Whether it is rock, R & B, country, rap, ska, or praise and worship, one group sticks out above the rest.
Relentless is a ska band. For those of you who don't know what ska is, ska is rock with horns or reggae without the accent. It has sort of a jazz feeling to it.
The members of the band Relentless consists of: Seniors Steven Jump and Carl Jenkins; Junior Harris Richards; Sophomores Chris Cook, Brenton Widener and Patrick Sarabel.
This band has been together for nearly a year.
They practice maybe once or twice a week.
Relentless recently performed at Wrestling for Jesus at Harlem High School, the Battle of the Bands at Lakeside High School, and other social events in Thomson.
Relentless is hoping to tour this summer with the focus on becoming the next "big thing" with their number one guy, Jesus.
Relentless finds that their biggest inspiration comes from Jesus.
"Without Him, we wouldn't have made it this far," said Brenton.
For information on how you can get Relentless to perform at your next event, contact Carl Jenkins or any other member of Relentless.
