Protect the rights and health of people Letter to the Editor Dear Editor, I read the letter written by Dr. Frank Powell in The Mirror about a smoking ban in public places. I completely support him in this issue. In addition to the discomfort second hand smoke causes asthma and allergy sufferers, we now know the damaging effects it can have.
