Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Bradford of Washington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bristol Bradford-Kent to Christian Elvin Tiller, son of Dr. Cecilia Tiller and the late Charles Tiller of Smyrna, Ga. The wedding is planned for January 17, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. at The Advent Lutheran Church in Martinez.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Louise Garrison and the late Jackson Garrison of Thomson and the late Harry and Janie Bradford of Tignall. She is a 1996 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is the program coordinator for McDuffie County Parks-Leisure Services.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Ellen Lewis and the late Elvin Raymer of Modesto, Calif., and the late Constance and John Tiller of Charleston, S.C. He is a 1994 graduate of Evans High School and a 2000 graduate of Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan. He earned his master's degree in 2004 from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Tex. Mr. Tiller is presently the recreation director for the City of Wrens.
