Ms. Anne B. Davis

MONROE, Ga. - Ms. Anne B. Davis, 79, of Monroe, Ga., formerly of Stone Mountain, Ga., died November 9, 2008.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and John Bobo of Shady Dale, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Albert Williams of Thomson, Ga., Jean and Melvin Jones of Camilla, Ga., Dorothy Letteer of Thomson, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Virginia Brown of Rockledge, Fla.; grandchildren, Mark and Jenny Bryan and Leah and William Prince; great grandchildren, Haylee and Hunter Prince, Ella and Sophia Bryan; and her companion and loving care giver, Mary Talton.

Mrs. Davis was retired from Georgia Department of Human Resources as a Nurse Practitioner for Maternal and Child Health. Anne was a graduate of Emory University with a BA and Masters Degree in Nursing. She was a Public Health Nurse for DeKalb County Health Department for many years and District Nursing Director for the Southeast area, Brunswick, Ga. She was a member of Thomson First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. John Donaldson officiating. Interment was held at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
