HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Marlin Dennis Jones, Sr., 71, entered into rest Saturday, November 8, 2008, at his residence.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2008, in the Westover Memorial Park in Augusta.
Mr. Jones was a native of Augusta and a member of Our Lady Queen of Angels in Thomson. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his son, Marlin D. Jones, Jr., Hephzibah, Ga.; a daughter, Marlene McCabe of Harlem; and a stepdaughter, Helen Turner. Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Marlin Dennis Jones, III, Christopher Michael Carroll, Gabrielle Ramos, Brandy Taylor.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
