Wal-Mart donates to fire department

Wal-Mart Manager Jay Matthews presents Thomson City Fire Chief Rick Sewell with a bonus grant check of $1,000.
|
Proceeds from the check will benefit the city's fire safety education program.
"The money comes from the local Wal-Martand it stays local.Wal-Mart has been kind to us," Chief Sewell said.
