THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Julian C. Newsome, 89, of Thomson, entered into rest November 9, 2005 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Mildred Newsome.
Mr. Newsome was born in Taliaferro County, Ga. but lived in Thomson most of his life. He was retired from National Homes and was a member of First Baptist Church in Thomson.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Langham Newsome, Thomson; grandchildren, Amanda and Anna Newsome, Thomson; daughter-in-law, Tammy Newsome, Thomson. He was preceded in death by his son, James Newsome.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., November 12, 2005 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Seaman and Dr. James Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens .
Pallbearers were J.C. Langham, Aubrey Montgomery, Davis Langham, Henry Langham, Harold Newsome, Paschall Price.
