THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Lena Thomas,85, of Thomson, died Monday in North Carolina.
Mrs. Thomas was a McDuffie County native, a retired teacher with the McDuffie County School System and a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.
Survivors are one son, Agar Thomas (Michelle) of North Carolina; daughter, Vera Thomas, Thomson; goddaughter, Debra Thomas Stephens and granddaughter, Shelia Butler, both of Thomson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Thomson. Rev. F. D. Favors, Pastor, officiating. Funeral services were in North Carolina on Sunday.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
