Mrs. Krista Lewis Harden

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Mrs. Krista Lewis Harden, 61, of Pensacola, Fla., died Sunday, November 9, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Martha and Judson Lewis of Thomson.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey G. Harden; and a son, Adam Lewis Harden (Serena); and one grandson, Ross Lewis Harden of Springfield, Ga. Two sisters also survive her: Mary Nell Campbell (Jack) of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Laura Miller of Elberton, Ga. Her son, David, predeceased her.

Krista was a public school teacher in Escambia County for 18 years. She loved her family, children, and animals.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Perdido Bay United Methodist Church in Pensacola at 11 a.m. with Rev. Darren M. McClellan and Rev. Bob Bailey, pastor of Warrington United Methodist Church, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be appreciated to The United Methodist Children's Home, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, Ga. 30030.

Oak Lawn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
