Ms. Judy V. Jackson Perry

AUGUSTA, Ga. - On November 9, 2008, God welcomed Ms. Judy V. Jackson Perry home to rest.

She was born October 15, 1956, in Augusta, to Joseph Jackson, Sr., and the late Edna Jackson. Judy was educated in the Richmond County School System and graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School in Augusta. She attended Hampton University and Georgia State University. Judy was employed at AT&T Company for over 30 years working in various positions. She was a devoted member of the United House of Prayer For All People.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 15, 2008, at noon from United House of Prayer For All People, with Apostle C. McClain officiating. Interment was in United House of Prayer For All People Cemetery in Dearing.

Survivors are one daughter, Akua Perry, Atlanta; father, Joseph Jackson, Sr., Augusta; two brothers, Joseph Jackson, Jr., and Elder Joey (Tracy) Jackson, of Augusta; three sisters, Lajuana (James) Stallings, Jr., Linda Jackson and Lisa (Dejaneiro) Pierce, Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.

W. H. Mays Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
