THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Helen E. Walker, widow of Mr. Arthur Walker, died Sunday, November 16, 2008, in the Heartland Hospice.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, in the Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was a native of Bynum, Ala., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Jackie Rogers, Mary Murphy, and Jane Walker all of Thomson, and Charlotte Walker, Augusta; a son, Randy Walker, Thomson; three brothers, Harlan Erwin and Joe Erwin, both of Birmingham, Ala., and Robert Erwin, Woodstock, Ga.; a sister, Frances Mowery, Birmingham, Ala.; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Wallace, Donnie Hadden, Adam Dye, Travis Hadden, Jeff Hicks and Talmadge Kicklighter.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
