DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Lydia Ellen Carr Hall, 88, widow of Mr. Edward Hall, died Thursday November 16, 2006 in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 19, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James McCollum officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
A native of Tucker County, W. Va., Mrs. Hall retired in 1983 from Corson's Manufacturing box company and was a member of Dearing Church of God for more than 22 years. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Charlene Lyke, a son, William Hall, and is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Vonda and David Crissman, Lois and Hal Weder; three brothers, Charlie Carr, Ernest Carr, and Troy Carr; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; special friends, Anne Bowden, Eva and Leonard Williams; several nieces and nephews.
