EVANS, Ga. - Mr. James "Jim" Campbell, 60, husband of Mrs. Nancy S. Campbell, entered into rest at his residence on Tuesday November 15, 2005.
Additional survivors include one son, Robert Campbell of Evans; one daughter, Paige Kelley and her husband, Sean, of Dearing; one brother, Robert C. Campbell of Lincolnton; two sisters, Sharon Hickman and Pam Costabile both of Martinez; one granddaughter, Abigayle Kelley; and one great-aunt, Bernice Someck of Miami, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Belair Road Chapel of Platt's Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Broome officiating.
Mr. Campbell graduated from Evans High School and attended the University of Georgia. He also served in the U.S. Army reserve for six years. He was employed by the Thomson Company for 15 years and has been employed for the past six years at Augusta Sportswear. Jim enjoyed fishing, sports and antiques. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomson.
