AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. John Radford Ledbetter, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Poss Ledbetter, entered into rest Saturday, November 19, 2005 at his residence.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2005 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Rev. George Webb officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
Additional survivors include a mother-in-law, Jewel Poss, Dearing; one sister-in-law, Diane Poss, Dearing; three brother-in-laws, Billy Poss (Debra), Thomson, and Tommy Poss and Stevie Poss both of Dearing; three nieces, Elizabeth Santiago, Harlem, Sharon Scoggins, Savannah and Susie Heights of Oklahoma; three nephews, Michael Ledbetter, Augusta, Julius Ledbetter, Parksville, SC, and Ira Heights of Oklahoma; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Ledbetter was predeceased by his parents, John and Marie Ledbetter; one sister, Pearl Ledbetter; one brother, Mack Ledbetter and one great nephew, Brian Strickland.
A native of Augusta, Mr. Ledbetter worked for the City of Augusta. He also enjoyed listening to his music.
Platt's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
