THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Lela B. Demons, 74 of Thomson, were held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Rev. F.D. Favors, officiating.
Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include five daughters, Janice West (Marvin), Gloria Harris and Valerie Demons, all of Thomson, Annette Elder (Clinton), Joyce Demons (Steve Johnson) of Atlanta; two sons, Robert Demons, Jr. and Timothy Demons of Thomson; one sister, Susie Benning of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Brantley Brewer of Florida; a devoted companion, Johnny Sturgis, Thomson; five brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law, Floyd Demons (Bernice), Eddie Demons of Thomson, Kenny Demons (Mattie), Lloyd Demons, Shirley Jackson (Robert), Thelma Green, of Atlanta, Ga., Betty Demons of Harlem, N.Y., Florence Brewer, of Raleigh, N.C.; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; devoted grandson, Demetrius Demons; a loving niece, Patricia Brewer; a close friend of the family, Eddie Brown; and other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
