AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Dennis "Pete" James Murray, Jr., who entered into rest on November 14, 2006, were held November 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. at First Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend Timothy Green officiating. Interment was at Hickory Tree Cemetery in Thomson.
Pete leaves to cherish his fond memories his mother, Sherry Bussey; father, Dennis James Sr.; paternal grandparents, John Willie and Minnie Lee Murray who preceded him in death and Willie and Sarah Bussey; fiance, Shamille Brown of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Ashley Ellington, Nefateria Ellington, and Demetrice (Golin) Brooks; three brothers, Brian Bussey, Dewayne Bussey, and Damian Ellington; seven aunts, one uncle, four nieces, three nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
