RAYLE, Ga. - Mr. Grover Allen Hall, 73, of Lexington Rd., died Monday in Washington.
Mr. Hall was a native of Wilkes County, was an Army Veteran, served during the Korean Conflict, a Mason and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 25, at 3 p.m. at the Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. John Mark Carpenter officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Tracy Armour, Lyn Armour, Greg Armour, Barry Armour, Chris Lunsford and Jason Echols and serving as honorary pallbearers were Danny Cosby, Almond Standard, James Echols, G.T. Hall, Joe McCommons, Jake Buff, Norman Echols, Jr., Shane Echols, Tom Lunsford and the Deacons of Sardis Baptist Church, Jack Armour, Norman Echols, Wesley Echols, Charles Boatwright, Billy Amason, Danny Gunter and Dr. David Kirk.
Survivors include his wife, Martha K. Hall of the home; daughter, Joyce H. Bowen and husband, James of Rayle; son, Boyce Hall and wife, Pam of Rayle; brothers, J.B. Hall, California and Bob Hall, Hartwell; sisters, Helen II Price, Athens, Sara Ingram, Decatur and Dr. Louise McCommons, Thomson; grandchildren, Lindley Hall, Avery Hall, Stephanie Bowen and Brandon Bowen and great-grandchildren, Cameron Bowen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sardis Baptist Church Kitchen Fund.
