Mrs. Bertha Williams Brown
WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mrs. Bertha Williams Brown, 85, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at Wilkes Health Care.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Lincoln County and was the widow of James T. Brown. She retired from the Royal Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Washington Church of God.
Graveside services were held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Skip Padgett officiating.
Pallbearers were Tim Barden, Ronnie Payne, Greg Fanning, Billy Neal, Howard Wilkinson and Charles Rhodes.
Mrs. Brown is survived by three daughter, June Dunevent, and husband Joe, of Wittmann, Ariz., Joyce Barden and husband, Pierce, of Washington and Pat Brown and husband, Wayne, of Washington; one sister, Celeste Williford of Thomson; nine grandchildren, Vickie Hill, Andrew Dunevent, Kandi Eglett, Tim Barden, Anita Payne, Marie Fanning, Joy Cutts, Everett Brown and Jamie Brown; 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John David Brown.
