It has been a year of firsts for The McDuffie Mirror.
We published our first issue July 3 and had our first subscriber a few days before.
We participated as a major sponsor in the Festival off Main Street.
And as Christmas rolls around, we're launching our first Angel Tree.
It sits in the lobby of our office in Magnolia Center. Each angel represents a child in our community who's in need this season. Whether it's shoes, clothes or even a bicycle, we have the opportunity to make their wishes come true.
All it takes is a little dedication from you.
First, you need to choose an angel. You can stop by our office or just give us a call.
The needs of the child are listed on their angel.
Then go make a couple of purchases and drop the items off at The Mirror office.
That's all. Simple enough for you?
It'll take a little money, even less time and will make a huge difference in the life of a needy child.
The McDuffie Mirror is partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Thomson and a couple of other local organizations to fill the Angel Tree. And we hope you'll partner with us to fulfill the Angel Tree.
Have a wonderful holiday by helping others enjoy Christmas.
