Amity Trader is hosting a Christmas Concert featuring Jeff and Sheri Easter, who are accomplished gospel musicians frequently appearing on the Gaither Homecoming tour.
"They've been our best friends for 20 years," said Bridget Lindsey, the store owner.
According to their website, Mr. and Mrs. Easter have received three Dove Awards, a Grammy nomination, three Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association awards, two International Country Gospel Music Association awards, nine Voice awards for Female Artist, five Voice awards for Song/Single of the Year, two Voice awards for Christian Country Group, and the list goes on.
Mr. Easter's father is one of the Easter Brothers, and Mrs. Easter's mother is a member of The Lewis Family.
Amity Trader specializes in exclusive Victorian furniture and accents, handmade Australian crystal jewelry and fragrant oils. In addition to the Thomson location, Mrs. Lindsey has stores in Lincolnton and Lexington, SC.
The concert is open to the public and will be held in the store at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
"This is just something we wanted to do for the people of Thomson. We just wanted to bring our Lord into Christmas in our store," Mrs. Lindsey said.
