THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. James Meva Bohler, 85, beloved husband of Mrs. Lodenia Bohler, died Monday, November 27, 2006, in the V.A. Medical Center, Augusta.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 30, in the Thomson Second Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bohler was a native of Lincoln County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. He was a retired construction worker. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. He was an army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lodenia Bohler, Thomson; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Bohler McComb, Jasper; two sons, Gary Bohler and Jimmy Bohler, both of Thomson; a sister, Mrs. Eva Reed, Tignal; and 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Bryan Bohler, Duane Bohler, Russell Bohler, Michael Wilkerson, Timmy Padgett, and Timmy Bohler.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
