DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Hillman Eugene Davis, 75, beloved husband of Mrs. Ruby Davis of Dearing, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Grovetown with Mr. Tim Starrett and Mike Reagan officiating. Burial was in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was a native of McDuffie County. He was retired from Dupont. He was a naval veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Grovetown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Davis and a brother, J.C. Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Davis, Dearing; a son, Michael Davis, Dearing; three daughters, Beverly Wesson, Winnemucca, Nev., Faye Morse, Atlanta, and Margaret Hughes, Dearing; three brothers, Alton Davis and Wallace Davis, both of Dearing, and James Davis, Swainsboro; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
