THOMSON, GA. - Mr. Albert W. Johnson, husband of Mrs. Loni Johnson, entered into rest November 12, 2006 at University Hospital in Augusta.
Mr. Johnson, a native of England, had lived in Thomson since 1995. He was a member of Young Memorial United Methodist Church, member of USGA Golf Association, Society of Mechanical Engineers, was a golf pro for Three Oaks Golf Club and a retired mechanical engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Loni Johnson, Thomson; mother, Lily C. Johnson, England; son, Tim Johnson, Marietta; daughter, Katrina Young, Marietta; brother, John Johnson, Petersboro, Canada; granddaughter, Ashley Johnson; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Johnson.
Memorial services were conducted Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Young Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Sue Meehan officiating.
