BARTOW, Ga. - Deacon Nathaniel Jones entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 27, 2006 in Louisville.
His funeral was held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Salter Grove Baptist Church in Bartow, Georgia with the Rev. Walter Holmes officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Walter Harkley, Jr., Ralph Hicks, Donald Hicks, Melvin Brookins, Guy Lewis and Willie Brookins.
Deacon Jones is survived by his daughter, Ruby (Walter) Harkley, Bartow; one son, Jonathan (Addie) Jones, Bartow; a sister, Myrtice Wilson, Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Jonathan Jones, Jr. and Jennifer Jones, Augusta, Walter III (Angela) Harkley, Thomson, and Yolanda Harkley, Atlanta; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Hudson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
