THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. John Albert Rogers, 83, of Thomson, were held on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Thankful Baptist Church, Glascock County, with Rev. Leroy Hudson, Pastor and Rev. G. L. Avery, Eulogist. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include a loving daughter, Ms. Deltavier Frye, Miami, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Connie Hill (Willie Randall), Thomson; two nephews, Mr. Darriek (Jeraldine) Rush and Mr. Jeffery (Valeria) Hill, all of Thomson; three nieces, Mrs. Zelda (Henry) McNair, Ms. Jackie (David) Rolling, all of Thomson, and Mrs. Denead (Lee) Buoy, Augusta; a long-time friend, Charles Jones, Miami, Fla.; a host of grand-nieces, grand- nephews, cousins, and friends.
