Mr. and Mrs. Andy Allen of Thomson announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Marie Allen of Thomson, to Bryan Russell Youngs of Dacula, Ga., son of Mr. Robert Youngs of Erie, PA and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Luscre of Dacula.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at Sweetwater Baptist Church in Thomson at 3 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Allen is a graduate of Thomson High School and a graduate of Truett-McConnell College.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Todd of Gibson and Mr. Warren Allen of Wrens and the late Mrs. Betty Allen.
Mr. Youngs is a graduate of Collins Hill High School and attended Truett-McConnell College.
Mr. Youngs is the grandson of Mrs. Ester Youngs of Lake Bluff, IL, Mrs. Dorothy Taylor of Wheeling, WV, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Luscre of Cumming, Ga., and Mrs. Sandra McBride of Marietta, Ga., and the late Mr. Jeremiah Youngs and the late Mr. William Taylor.
The bride and groom will be doing classes through the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and the groom is currently serving at Mountaintown Baptist Church in Ellijay, Ga., as Youth Director.
