Ms. Clara Gilmore Webber
Homemaker

APPLING, Ga. - Ms. Clara Gilmore Webber, 93, of Appling, entered into rest December 2, 2005 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Leland E. Webber.

Survivors include daughters, Arlen Norris (John), Martinez and Sharyn Pifer (Dick), Appling; son, Richard E. Webber (Pam), Sylvester, Ga.; brother, Howard Gilmore (Eva Lee), Lake Ocochobee, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Carlton 'Pete' Lee Webber.

Mrs. Webber was a native of Portsmouth, Va., but lived in Appling since 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of Sharon Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Deacons of Sharon Baptist Church.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
