It was with great joy that our Sisterhood was able to serve our community and see all the smiling faces this past Saturday morning as we served breakfast to the citizens of McDuffie County at the Festival off Main.
Our church is an outreach church seeking and serving our county and all the surrounding counties. Our mission is to reach out with love to all mankind meeting the needs of each individual person that we can touch. We have a Boaz Ministry Outreach where we provide food and clothing for the needy. Currently we are also involved in our "100 Bundles of Love Project" where we are taking food, blankets and toys to the streets of Augusta.
Our pastor, Phil Bray, has challenged us to be an Acts 1:8 church, where we are to be witnesses of Jesus in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth. This is what Jesus has commanded us to do and we at Fort Creek Baptist Church are following our Lord in meeting needs and loving people with the love of God. Thank you, McDuffie County, for allowing us to do one small part of that this past Saturday.
