Organizer praises weekend festivities
Letter to the Editor
Last Friday evening was the kick off to what I hope will become the annual Festival Off Main Street. The Business After Hours and Christmas Open House were a tremendous success, due to the efforts of many.
The caroling around the trees, at the Depot, and the various parks by McDuffie County's elementary school children was wonderful. To the teachers and the parents that allowed their children to participate, thank you.
The Kilpatrick Baptist Association served hot chocolate and cider at each of the venues. The food vendors, Ivery's, Rotary, and the Camellia City Lions, served food in the Depot. To all of these, thank you.
To each and every one of you who braved the cold and enjoyed the three days of festivities, we hope that you will remember to join us next year.
Sincerely,
Vicki Ussery
