Mrs. Peggy Cook Blair BEECH ISLAND, S.C.-- Mrs. Peggy Cook Blair, 77, wife of W. S. Blair, entered into rest Sunday, December 12, 2004. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Owens officiating. Pallbearers were Sully Blair, Dan Blair, Justin Blair, Rody Brown, Kevin Brown and Anthony Brown. Mrs. Blair was born in Mt. Hope, Ala., and was the daughter of the late Leo and Sue Cook. Mrs. Blair had lived in the North Augusta area for all of her life and retired from Georgia Natural Gas Company on September 30, 1989. Additional survivors include a daughter Rebecca Brown and her husband, Anthony of Edgefield, SC; two sons, Danny C. Blair, Sr. and his wife, Kathy of North Augusta, S.C, W. A. Blair and his wife, Angela of Thomson; a brother, Gibson Cook of Crab Orchard, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Rody Brown, Danny Blair, Jr., Justin Blair, Katie Hearn, Sully Blair, Jennifer Blair; two great-grandchildren, Kyle Blair and Sonny Schauman; two step-grandchildren, Adam Richards and Courtney Richards of Thomson.
