LAS VEGAS/Dec. 23...UCLA almost handled USC, they'll have too much for the Wyoming Cowboys, especially with neon in the pokes' eyes
HAWAII/Dec. 24.... Alabama-Birmingham will be too busy going "WOW" about Waikiki on Christmas Eve to handle the homestanding Rainbows
MPC COMPUTERS/Dec. 27/Boise....Virginia missed a trip to Orlando because of exams and had to settle for the icy blue rug of Boise, they'll take it out on Fresno State
MOTOR CITY/Dec. 27/Detroit....Toledo has a good QB and tough defense, they won their conference championship on this same field, they'll win again over UCONN
INSIGHT/Dec. 28/Tempe, Arizona....confusion reigns over Notre Dame, so does Oregon State

HOUSTON/Dec. 29..... Texas-El Paso will travel 700 miles without leaving their state, if they keep Coach Mike Price out of the clubs, the Miners will win over Colorado
CONTINENTAL TIRE/Dec. 30/Charlotte....North Carolina stunned Miami, they'll welcome Boston College to the ACC by doing the same to them
EMERALD/Dec. 30/San Francisco....Coach Paul Johnson's Navy option will polish off New Mexico
