THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. George Coultas, Jr., of 5599 Abbott Dr., NE, Thomson, Ga. entered into rest Dec. 11, 2003 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Coultas. Survivors include his wife: Mary Engelke Coultas, Thomson, two daughters, Cherie Bohler (Steve) Martinez, Ga. and Ginger Dean (John), Thomson.; brothers, Walter Coultas and Jeffery Coultas both of Victoria, Texas; three sisters, Darlene Robinson-Romeoville, Illinois, Faye Waiman-Romeoville, Illinois, Alice Doyle-Pittsfield, Illinois; five grandchildren, Brittany Bohler, Jessica Bohler, Brent Bohler, James Dean, Mikel Dean.
He was preceded in death by his son Marshall Drake Coultas.
Mr. Coultas was born in Pittsfield, Ill., and had lived in McDuffie County since 1983. He was a retired Sgt. with 20 years service from the U.S. Army and served three tours in the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star. Mr. Coultas was also a Baptist.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2003 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kevin Towns officiating. Full Military Honors were at the service.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
