Mr. William P. Hardy
Master Carpenter

THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. William P. Hardy, 73, husband of Mrs. Louise Hardy, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003 in the Warrenton Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jerry McNutt and Ron Lawson officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.

Mr. Hardy was a native of Columbia County but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired Master Carpenter. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He attended Adams Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Hardy, Dearing; a son, Tommy Edmunds, Dearing; three daughters, Margaret Pinon, Camak, Kathy Morgan, and Marcia Nichols, both of Thomson; three sisters, Frances Newby, Dearing, Ella James, Grovetown, and Margie Reeves, Thomson; four brothers, Willard Hardy, Thomson, Clay Hardy, Grovetown, Richard Axon, Sylvester, and Carl Axon, Thomson; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and 31 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Calvin Fulmer, Smokey Kitchens, David Kitchens, James Foster, Gene Hardy, and Lamar Hardy.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
