Wilson wins DAR contest

Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Chairman Karen Holley announced recently that Thomson High School Senior Mary Allen Wilson had been named the 2003 THS D.A.R. Good Citizen.

While at THS, Miss Wilson has served as a class officer each year and is currently co-president of the student council.

She is a member of the Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Health Occupations Student Association, Future Business Leaders of America, the yearbook staff, tennis team and Spanish Club.

She also has been a member of the cheerleading squad all four years. This year she was named captain of the squad and was selected as a UCA All-Star cheerleader.

Following graduation, Miss Wilson plans to attend the University of Georgia to major in education with an emphasis in biology.
