Mrs. Helen Waits Harper Coursey
Retired Secretary

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Helen Waits Harper Coursey, 85, of Thomson, entered into rest December 12, 2007, at her residence.

Gravesides services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Resthaven Cemetery in Decatur, Ga., with Jerry Carpenter officiating.

Mrs. Coursey was a native of Warren County, but lived in Stone Mountain, before moving to Thomson a few years ago. She was the daughter of the late Walter Terrell Harper and the late Matilda Cecile Crawley Harper. Mrs. Coursey was retired from Tingue-Brown and was a member of Allgood United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: nieces: Helen Tyson, Thomson, Ga., Cecile Carpenter, Thomson, and Allene Callaway, Union Point, Ga.; nephews: Terry Tyson, McDonough, Ga., and Walter Tyson, Salt Lake City, Utah; step-daughter: Patsy Long-Houston, Tex.
