Mr. Dewayne Floyd THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Dewayne Floyd, 37, of Thomson, were held on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 3 p.m. at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. R.C. Henderson, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Survivors are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Barbara) Floyd of Thomson; one sister, Patricia James of Thomson; three brothers, Harold Floyd of Atlanta, Melvin Floyd and Dylan Hobbs Floyd, both of Thomson; maternal grandfather, Mr. J.B. Tankersley of Thomson; paternal grandparents, Alfonso and Gracie Goss of Atlanta; special aunt, Mrs. Geraldine Carrington of Augusta; special niece, Hiawassee James of Thomson; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
