THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Lois Allen Guy, 86, passed away after an extended illness on December 19, 2007.
Mrs. Guy was a lifelong resident of Thomson and a retiree of The Thomson Company after many years of service. She was a member of Young Memorial United Methodist Church and a long time member of the Raysville Boat Club.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 21, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Katie Strals officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Macon Guy. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Patsy and Jerry Williams, Brenda and Roger Chalker, all of Thomson, and Wanda and Bill Colburn of Denver, Colorado. She has three grandchildren and their spouses, Kim and Stan Tam, Scott and Karen Williams, and Brad and Kay Chalker, all of Thomson, and six great-grandchildren, Haley Tam, Tyler Tam, Taylor Williams, Harper Williams, Tanner Chalker, and Kalli Crafton. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Arrington, also of Thomson.
The family request that donations be made to the American Stroke Association.
