DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Alicia L. Sanderlin Rodgers, 44, beloved wife of Mark Rodgers, entered into rest December 21, 2007 at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson Georgia.
Graveside services were held Monday, December 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Dearing United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. James McLendon officiating.
Mrs. Rodgers was born in Americus, Ga. She graduated from Harlem High School and Augusta State College with a nursing degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She was a registered nurse in the operating room at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Rodgers enjoyed photography and horses and was the owner of the Sanderlin Horse Ranch. She was also a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Rodgers and daughter, Caitlin Rodgers; mother, Judy Sanderlin, Appling; one brother, Eddy Sanderlin of Appling; one sister, Abby Sanderlin (Robbie) Peoples, Appling; niece, Annslee Peoples; and nephews, Jes and Jeremy Sanderlin. She was preceded in death by her father, John Edgar Sanderlin and step-son, Ryan Rodgers.
Pallbearers were Dr. Joe Wills, Dr. David Ruehle, Dr. Darrell Wester, Joey Rhodes, Lyn Smith, and Donald Kitchens.
